Our current client population is made up primarily of local college students, young professionals, and low-income families. We are completely funded by our local community , including churches, businesses, and individuals who believe in our pro -abundant life vision.
There are a number of services offered through Palouse Care Network , including parenting classes, sexual assault support groups, domestic violence support groups, pornography recovery groups, pregnancy loss (including post-abortion) support, pregnancy testing, ultrasounds, STD testing, material assistance, and so much more. All services are provided for free or at a low cost.
Palouse Care Network values all people and wants to ensure everyone experiences a welcoming environment. This has been exemplified through one client in particular. The Resource Coordinator was talking to one of our clients who attends the Healthy Pregnancy/Parenting Infants class with her husband. They are expecting their first baby later this spring. The Resource Coordinator asked her if any of her family from Bangladesh would be here for the birth or to help after their baby is born. She said they would not be able to come because of Covid -19 and visa complications. Our Resource Coordinator told her she was sorry they couldn’t come, and she said, “that’s okay – we have all of you guys to help and support us”. Our Resource Coordinator shared that it is our joy and privilege to be a part of this special time in their lives.

- We recently had an intake appointment with a young mom of a four-month-old baby boy. She needed cloth diapers for her baby because he was having rashes with the disposable diapers. When the coordinator shared with her about our classes, specifically Parenting Infants, she was very happy to hear about it, and shared that she was really wanting to connect with other young moms. She is now attending our Parenting Infants class.
